Transforming Leaders 2009 Begins
This weekend marks the beginning of our Transforming Leaders 2009 program. Interns will be moving into the house on Wildemere and getting ready for their summers of service. We'll be inviting each intern to keep an online journal of some sort, so watch these emails for links to those stories coming out of their experience. We are very excited for this new TL09 class and ask you to be in prayer for them!

Prayer Brunch Postponed
Due to lower than expected numbers of folks available Saturday for a prayer brunch, we'll be postponing that event. Watch for communication from our Development Intern, Kristen Kosmider, about a new way for you and your churches/Sunday School Classes/fellowship groups, etc to hear all about YLI's ministries. Called "YLI's CONNECT 5" events, these are less-than-an-hour, non-fundraiser, introductions to the stories and visuals of transformed lives and communities made possible by God's work through the young people connected with YLI. We hope you and 10 friends can join us for a CONNECT 5 event at one of our ministry centers in Detroit, or at your local church. Motown Mission Looking for Meal Providers
Motown Mission will be upon us in July and we are looking for groups to come help prepare a meal for the young missionaries one or two nights. Please contact Heather at hmcnutt@sbcglobal.net to volunteer!
